Yes! KleerCard is built for organizations where lots of ministries, programs, and departments each manage their own spending.
How are expenses organized?
Every transaction is automatically tied to the cardholder, their department, and a budget category. Budgets can be set up by program, campus, or fund, so you always know which bucket a purchase belongs to.
Can each ministry or department track its own spending?
Yes. You can issue cards with their own limits and permissions for each department, ministry, or program. Leaders can see their spending as it happens, while your finance team still sees the big picture across the whole organization.
Does this help with restricted or designated funds?
Structuring budgets by fund makes it much easier to see how designated dollars are being spent and to show donors and boards exactly where money went.
Does the coding carry over to our accounting system?
KleerCard organizes and documents each transaction before it goes to your accounting system, which cuts down on reconciliation time and manual entry errors. How the sync works depends on which system you use. Just ask us and we'll walk you through it for yours.
